Created own original version of the trailer of the Academy Award and Palme D’Or winning film ‘Parasite’; the aim was to create an engaging trailer which entices the audience all over again to look forward to watch the movie and to do this I changed the genre from its original thriller-mystery to a romantic-drama with satire.

The Concept of the film revolves around Existentialism, particularly philosophies from Philosopher, Jean Paul Sartre, 'Existence Precedes Essence'. This City Symphony Film Art explores how the environment is a space of existence and how existence itself is a construct which enriches an environment. It plays on the dichotomy between two city symphonies and structure of natural terrains and unifies them as one to bring out the divergence of different civilizations and their quiddity. Everything is shot on either an iPhone or an Android Phone, to emphasize avant-garde mediums of filmmaking. People and Environment play as the foundation and which are built on and explored in the film, mirroring the evolutionary reality of how different environments were built and explore to solidify existence. The film indirectly explores different cultures which have birthed with the longevity of existence. The film also showcases an interlude of cities and topography to show social and geographical aspects of existence. The visuals have tried to capture a sense of realism which comes with existence.

The Immersive Experience is centred on the main theme of self-discovery, where the audience would find themselves, through a journey of self-awareness, new transcendental experiences, engaging and thought-provoking at the same time, using different technologies and forms of art. To ease connection with oneself and the internal journey, we subsumed sub-themes of the five senses – smell-touch-sight-sound-taste, combining it with nature. It explored how spaces and nature connected us in multiple ways, how we delve into the process of self-discovery using varied digital technologies, mediums, and art forms and how these fragments amalgamate into one ‘self’. Creating a three-piece immersive experience, with three-different installations, using various mediums and technology, giving audience a sense of inward-journey to discover different aspects of themselves as the performance progressed.

Avant Garde short film, ‘Awoken’, of which the concept is existentialism combined with the relaxing nature of spaces, whilst also using the abstract nature of dreams and objects which manifests into a surreal perception. The inspirations included films such as ‘Inception’ by Christopher Nolan, ‘At Eternity’s Gate’ by Julian Schnabel, ‘A Dance of Reality’ by Alejandro Jodorowsky and ‘Old Boy’ by Park Chan Wook. Paintings like Vincent Van Gough’s ‘Starry Night’ as well as ‘The Persistence of Memory’ by Salvador Dali were also big inspirations as well as music videos like ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ by BTS and ‘BbiBbi’ by IU.
